The previous sheriff should be required to work every one of the 300 hours of community service. Of course, not with the Morgan County Sheriff's Office. She should be in the public so that the public can see that she is performing her community service. Maybe road work. Picking up trash is rewarding and helps you sleep at night. The whistleblower's first job while working for the government in Pirmasens, Germany in 1977 was picking up trash on a military Kaserne as part of the community police team. "Community Police" does not mean the same on a military Kaserne as in does in civilian life. The job led to education and training and upward mobility. We recommend it.
We saw how that worked with her ex-lover. He was out and about every weekend running the streets. We don't know how the poor guy found time to spend his time in jail since he held down a full-time job as well. But, he has paid dearly for his time spent with the previous sheriff. Especially from a monetary standpoint.
