Jailers

Blogger Comments: Folks the jailers pay should be a concern for all of us. Even Blakely pays his jailers 15.00 per hour. This is an on-going problem that needs to be addressed ASAP. We understand that MCSO can't immediately find the money to match pay in another county. These funds take years to develop and we lost 8 long years on a sheriff that should not have been sheriff.

We have to start somewhere and we believe that Ray Long and Sheriff Puckett are on the right track. We kept up with the number of jailers coming and going when Franklin was in office. The numbers were staggering yet Franklin did nothing to resolve the issues. She got paid heavily through the rodeo, inmate food funds, discretionary funds, and her salary. What, her worry?
