An arraignment date is set for a sheriff accused of stealing money from law enforcement.

Arraignment for Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely is set for Sept. 26. Blakely was indicted last month on 12 felony charges and one misdemeanor.

All four Limestone County judges recused themselves from hearing the case against Blakely. Retired Colbert County Circuit Court Judge Pride Tompkins will hear the case.
