Back at work

The whistleblower has been under the weather for a couple of months.  Getting over one thing and walking right into the flu was not my cup of soup but there you have it.  Back to back illness beyond my control.  Well! The whistleblower is back and boy do we have blogs to do.

This past week have been very interesting and happening without the whistleblower.  All she could do is recuperate and enjoy the stories.  Tomorrow it is time to blog.

One more wonderful event occurred today.  While driving home we found the county w/MCSO inmates cleaning up trash that hasn't been cleaned for at least a couple of years.  For a long time, Kelso brought the inmates out and they cleaned the sides of the streets while at the same time the free citizens who did not want to clutter their vehicles with their trash continue to throw trash out on the sides of the road.  It is clear some people have never cleaned around their streets, maybe they are pigs at home, or maybe they are just too darn lazy to throw their trash in the bins at the gas stations with the way most people do.

We thank the county and the SO very much for sending these folks out to the county roads to help our streets clean again.

By the way, did you know that you can stop and buy the guys out cleaning the streets drinks?  Well, you can.  You will be surprised how much they appreciate the thought.

Blogs come tomorrow but praise today for those who give back to society.

  1. I have an idea. Do like any other state. Your lazy ass throws a cup out the window...200 to 500 fine. Cities in Alabama would be rich.
