New York Times FRONT and CENTER

We encourage our readers to check out the comments on the New York Times website.  We would also like to thank all the hard-working men and women both past and present who made the trip across the river.  This article is about you.  The MCSO employees are working under some of the lowest wages in the state.  They are the backbone of the sheriff's office and have worked in a hostile work environment for years.  Ricky Brewer is very brave for speaking up and having his name posted in the Times article.  Our sources tell us that Franklin is already busy with damage control and that Billable Barney is in an absolute rage.  That means that the article hit the right buttons.  Needless to say, she is not happy with Ricky Brewer and has already made that clear.  Another sign that Ricky did the right thing.

Everyone that knows Ricky Brewer knows that he is an honest man and has no reason to lie about the Keylogger software or any other subject.  That is what arrogance gets you.  Nobody is above the law.  That includes you Robert (Bones) Wilson, Blake Robinson, Barney Lovelace, Justin Powell, Larry and Pam Berzett, and Dee Goodwin.

This land is my land and this land is your land but the MCSO money and resources do not belong to me, you, or any of your followers to willingly part take of.  Those funds are obligated to run the mission of the sheriff's office.  You have successfully taken money from the sheriff's office for years.  It is time to stop the corruption.

You are a disgrace to the uniform you wear and to law enforcement across the nation.  Nobody wishes you harm.  Our only hope is that you and the rest of those involved in your dirty deeds pay for the criminal offenses you have committed.

Our country was built on trust.  We should be able to trust our elected officials to follow the laws and the constitution of the United States of America.  You were sworn in to serve and protect the citizens of Morgan County.  You call the sheriff's office employees traitors.  Our law enforcement officers did not swear an allegiance to you as the sheriff.  Our law enforcement officers took the approach of seeing crime stop crime and they have worked very hard to help us stop you in your tracks.

  2. So when is our local media gonna jump on this?

  3. The local media is bought and paid for as well as influences by one Banes Lovelace and his law firm. They won’t say or do anything or they would have already. They will wait till Barnes and Ana are arrested before they say anything. They are bought and paid for and they know it.

    1. Now that's not fair. If you look back over the blog you will find solid reports from the Daily and from al.com, and even a couple of critical editorials from the Daily editor. That's the print media. As for local television, not so much. The old saying for the visual media is"If it bleeds, it leads." And if it doesn't you'll get a 45-second story with 15-second tape clip that repeats 3 times. If you're lucky. And remember, the stations are all in Huntsville and Madison County.

    2. I wrote the 1:44 PM comment.

Fair enough. But if they've ran anything on the rodeo money, deputies selling ads while on duty, or the divers digging up evidence out of the creek I've missed it.

  4. This is to one of Ana's thieving crooked little buddies. You asked a while back "where is this so called New York Times article that you keep saying is going to come out, another lie out of Glenda's mouth". Well azzhole, here it is, read it and weep. You're going down to.

  6. They say she is running again...this time she is going to clean house of all the employees she thinks have crossed the river to talk to the Big Boys. Good luck Sheriff...This has made National News...I don't think ol Barney will be able to help. My best suggestion would be to simply resign. Do the County a huge favor.

  7. From what I understand there will be a follow up article at a later date as other requests develop and come forth and fact checking on other parts not printed are complete. This was a good article and with more to be said I'm sure it will get even better. Sheriff Franklin should not run for reelection and then stay under the radar and maybe she won't end up arrested just forgotten. (even though she should be arrested for all her illegal activity) I would settle for just going away and save the county from some further shame
