According to our sources, there isn't a lot of activity going on in the sheriff's office right now. A lot of folks such as Ana, Corley, Bones, and the rest of the crew seem to be taking their use-or-lose vacation pay.
It is hard to believe that these folks have use-or-lose leave since they rarely go to work. This appears to me more Fraud, Waste, and Abuse. If Corley is taking his use or lose leave hasn't he already done that by spending either Tuesday's or Thursday's at the cattle sales?
This is a total slap in the face to the hardworking men and women that work for the sheriff and use their leave appropriately.
On another note, we hear that one of the individuals running for sheriff thinks we should go ahead and shut the blog down because we accomplished our mission and that the blog is no longer of use. We beg to differ with you, sir, as-well-as your followers. We fully intend to continue blogging until the fat lady sings.
We make mistakes we correct them but the blog isn't a mistake and we do not need wannabees trying to dictate when we shut our blog down. We hear folks running their months continually with me me me and the I I I's but we ignore it. We have little patience for those who sit back on their thrones and try to dictate what and when we should discuss so we thought we would throw a hodge-podge of information in this blog for you. We do thank you for your concern. We plan on seeing the entire process of possible additional arrests through to the end. We also intend on attending the hearings and we will continue to report as needed.
Speaking of not shutting down we hear more day after day about relationships within the jail that appear to be most inappropriate. We also recently heard that Deputy Zivat has been assigned the Special Victim's Unit deputy. That can't be right. Isn't Zivat the one who allegedly made sexual advances towards another employee? Wasn't there a formal complaint. Please correct us if we are wrong With so many women coming clean these days and reporting sexual misconduct and/or sexual harassment, if this allegation is true it seems inappropriate to assign an alleged offender to a position of this nature.
We understand a female was recently fired for misconduct with another corrections officer; however, we did not hear the rest of the story. As it takes two to tango we can't help but wonder what happened to the other participant. We tried to reach out to the young lady who was fired but she has shut her social media site down. We will continue to try and reach out to her to get her side of the story.
The sheriff's office is in serious need of sexual harassment training and education. The training is good practice with or without ongoing complaints.
