Comments Blake Robinson

Reading the comments posted on Blake Robinson, it is obvious that there are a lot of differing opinions in regards to his conduct and behavior.  Folks, we have been very hard on Sheriff Ana Franklin and her followers.  We can only hope that the folks that we have blogged about can find their way across the river.  We work with a lot of people who were true believers in Sheriff Franklin and can pinpoint when they believe things began to change in how she was running the sheriff's office.  Many say that 2013 was a pivotal turn in her service.  Some noticed the conduct and behavior long before 2013 but most are steadfast that in 2013 there was a major change in the sheriff.  Either way, a lot of people were fooled or offered special perks for being the sheriff's friend.

Our hope is that Blake Robinson is ready and prepared to clean up his part of this mess for himself and his sweet little family.  Nobody's family deserves the hardships that some of these folks have placed their families in.  I can hear the comments now screaming that we want justice.  So do I.  Sure, they all knew better.  But it's not our job to determine any punishment they may receive for their part in the fraud, waste, and abuse.  Our job is to report it and hope that the authorities start with the leader of the pack.

Reading the blog it is evident that someone believes that an individual took money from the sheriff's office to go on holiday.  From what I understand the person admitted that they had taken or borrowed money from the sheriff's office and repaid the money.  Why is it alright for Sheriff Franklin to steal money that she never paid back to the MCSO inmate fund yet you want to badger a person that actually admitted what the did and paid the money back?  The money that Franklin took and claimed to pay back is and/or was in Traditions Bank in the sheriff's name.  It is very hard to admit that you made a mistake.  It is honorable to take responsibility for that mistake and correct the wrong.  We will have to wait and see how many of the sheriff's sidekicks are honorable in the end.

We will be the first to admit that we have come down hard on our law enforcement officers, corrections officers, ABC agents, the command group, and the jail administrator.  We believe their actions have had a major impact on the citizens of this county, the employees, and yes the inmates.  We are all human and we all make mistakes.  We continue making those mistakes until we learn our lessons and then our Lord lifts that burden and we face another lesson.  It is deeply saddening that some of these folks have sunken so far down that by crossing the line they will have a very hard battle ahead of them.  They are not alone in this battle; it affects the entire county as-well-as their families.  We would be willing to talk to Blake but he doesn't need to talk to us.  He needs to take a trip across the river. No matter what he may be facing it is better to face it with self-reporting vice standing his ground with Sheriff Franklin.  We believe Sheriff Franklin is walking on quicksand.  Stop walking with her.

There will be a lot of work in the future to bring the sheriff's office back to an operational state.  We should congratulate the hard-working men and women who have held the sheriff's office together using a band-aid for a gaping wound.   These folks should be commended for their hard work.  Hopefully, we will elect a sheriff who is a competent professional, a leader who is willing to get in the trenches with the deputies, provide adequate equipment and training.

  1. I say if Blake’s family wants to stand by him then that’s great but he needs to roll.... he needs to do everything he can to save his own marriage, life, etc... Tell all he knows to the feds! This Sheriff ain’t worth losing anything for!

  3. The whistleblower has been going on for around 2 years. In that time they have been mocked, made fun of, called liars, threatened, and a business was unlawfully searched with items taken that were destroyed with a warrant issued under false information. All that time it was because Glenda threatened them with this blog with all their wrong doing. Not only would it jeopardize their money and extra goodies they were getting out of being frauds, but it would cause them their livelihoods. The most important thing that they forgot about when they started all this was their sweet little families. Many people have been hurt by their actions and the whistleblower made the comment over a year ago that their families would too. I wish they would have listened even back then. But, they continued to be arrogant and thought Ana could protect them. I would like to extend my thoughts and prayers out to the families, MCSO employees, and those additionally that have been or will be affected by all this. Thank you whistleblower for your courage, faith, and sacrifice.

  4. Robinson going soft about playing war hero with the FBI or something?

I might be a jerk for saying this but I find it hard to sympathize with the adult family members that will be negatively affected. If you were a spouse, cousin, older sibling, or whatever to one of these goons and you notice he starts bringing home loaded new trucks and other toys that would be difficult to afford on an MCSO salary wouldn't you grow suspicious? Tell me with a straight face they knew nothing of their loved ones' criminal behavior. They poke, prod, and bully other arrestees' loved ones to help their cases, now they opened the door to their loved ones.

    2. They honestly may not have known. I will not judge them for that. I apologize in advance to the family for thinking they probably knew...what I know is a man should provide for his family with protection, honesty, and with integrity. A few of these men did not do that whether they involved their family or not, they will ALL suffer the consequences. That really is a horrible circumstance when you think about it. Your family will rally with you of course but when they have that disappointment and sadness in their eyes you need to remember what caused it and never do it again. People will have pity on you, but you'll see the hurt in their eyes. If you dont, you have a bigger problem than an we all thought. Ana you're included!

    3. I realize you're trying to defend him in regard to comments, but what he has now and what he drives doesn't matter at this point. It is the past we have a problem with....

  5. Maybe he will have a bonfire with the MCSO document's and invite to have a deputy party. That is one way to remove evidence. Just a thought. It's to late at this point though. :-)

    1. If you know something you know what you need to do. Do not sit on information. Do the right thing. Separate yourself from them!

    2. Also...I am not Glenda. I do not have an affiliation with the whistleblower. I am a reader. I believe in justice and wish the lot of you that know things would divulge it to the proper people so, we all can live a little easy...Your family and friends included. Do the right thing.

    3. I know this is illegal but it was in reference to Blake driving a van home and destroying paperwork to cover the sheriff himself and other investigators maybe somebody needs to let them know it's illegal( I'm sure they don't care or they already know). With deliberations still going on I'm sure they're all worried about who will be in cuffs next, And it's not IF it's WHEN.

    1. Nothing wrong with praying for him, but I'll clue you in...he is corrupt. It would be in everyone's interest to let the law deal with him. Standing up for a guy who shows you the good and you clearly do not know the bad, may make you look...gullible.

  7. Who wants to break the law by burning evidence .you do know that is against the law.

    2. The comment was a reference to Blake & other investigators taking paperwork home in vans to dispose, burn etc. I know it's illegal, someone should let a few of the investigators in on that because they are busy covering the sheriff's tail and their own with the deliberations still going on they are all on edge to see who will be in cuffs next. It's not IF it's WHEN.

  9. Don't care for Blake and how acts, but kids and family are off limits for me. I wish employees at MCSO felt the same and would not target my kids just because they may not like me. Putting them in danger to get back at me is not justice or good law enforcement. (How would you feel if it were your kids mistreated) and no I have no record and am not a criminal.

  10. Some of you do just that ..target on our children .and now they are dead .what because you wanted to play games with peoples lives .so why feel sorry for your children ? Are you saying you're children are special? Think about it?
