Rumors of Sexual Harassment Within The Morgan County Sheriff's Office Runs Rampant

Folks the rumors are flying on the blog alleging that one Officer and Corrections Officer are accused in separate sexual harassment allegations.  According to our sources a deputy sexually harassed two female employees.  We have the names of each MCSO employee involved in the allegations and those of the two MCSO employee victims.  We are trying to confirm that complaint was filed through proper channels against the deputy yet our sources tell us that the deputy is one of Sheriff Ana Franklin's chosen ones and the complaint was ignored. We hear that both female employees fear for their jobs because of the favored deputy who in Sheriff Ana Franklin's eyes can do no wrong.  If the allegations are true we must ask Sheriff Ana Franklin if this is the way she represents all women of our county?  We can't help but go back to the way that one female murder victim was treated by Sheriff Ana Franklin and Judge Jennifer Howell just a short year or two ago.  The victim died at the hands of her abusive husband who had promised he would kill her and made good on that promise.  See the last paragraph.

The alleged incident involving a corrections officer is said to have happened last weekend while he and a female inmate were both working an event at Point Mallard.  If the rumors are true they pertain to the inmate being sexually harassed by a jailer and is at the mercy of the Morgan County Jail and that jailer.  She is a victim like the two female employees of the sheriff's office if the allegations and rumors are true.  This type of behavior must not be tolerated in any law enforcement correctional facility.  None of the incidents have been reported to the media outlets in our area.  There was another allegation of an inmate who became pregnant while working in the MCSO kitchen.  Sources say the female inmate was quickly shipped out to another facility.  We have read several comments in regards to both the deputy and the corrections officer.  The allegations are very disturbing.  If the rumors and allegations are true Sheriff Ana Franklin is sending a loud message to the woman in Morgan County, Alabama:  female victims do not matter.  It appears that females within the jail both employees and inmates take a back seat to favored men in the MCSO jail. When you fail to feed and properly medicate inmates you sure are not going to worry about your favored deputy and a corrections officer having a little bit of fun at female victims expense.

It gets worse.  We're told that the corrections officer from the Point Mallard incident was hauled before Berzett and Ana and was told to resign or be fired.  The corrections officer replied with questions why the officers involved in the office harassment of MCSO employees weren't given the same choice. Case dismissed.  So the rumors go.

Roger Stevens did far worse to his ex-wife he killed her in cold blood.  Yet, sheriff Ana Franklin agreed to take him by his daddy's house to see his daddy before taking him to jail.  Stevens was a friend of Franklin's.  She even hired his niece as an employee to work in the same jail Stevens is being held.

  1. IF that stuff is true, I guess it ought to be pretty easy to figure out your source. Who is in charge of HR at the sheriff's office?

  2. How is it easy to figure out the source? EVERYONE here is disturbed and disgusted that this is all swept under Ana's special rug.

Ana and her cronies have tried multiple times to eliminate "sources". She can't, or else there would be no department left.

  3. Who is in charge of HR for the sheriff's office? Is this person colluding with the sheriff? This type thing always goes through HR these days.

  4. Or is the HR feeding WB? Some of this information can only come from the Sheriff a top level supervisor or the HR in charge.

    1. HR isn't privy to this info, but Glenda and her goons are?
      Nonsense.
Go ahead, tell us who is in charge of HR. You're all about calling out corruption, right?

    2. No reason to protect anybody at the S.O. who may have took part in a cover-up, right?

    3. It doesn't matter who is (or who isn't) HR. Everything that goes on or through HR at the MCSO ultimately has to be approved by Bones or Blake Robinson. And everybody in that sheriff's office, including the jailers, knows exactly what happened.

  6. Strange that you'd be so reluctant to name whoever does HR. I mean, that person would certainly be aware of such a scandalous claim, since it is their job. Has HR ignored these claims? Maybe HR swept this under the rug? Maybe HR colluded with others to hide it? Did HR refuse to pursue it? Out here in private industry, if there is even a hint of an HR cover up, the manager would be fired immediately.

  7. The Human Resources mgr at the sheriff's office drives an unmarked county vehicle, with a gas card, and blue lights. Y'all say Bones and Blake are the de facto HR dept, so why not do away with the current official position? Cutting out that salary, benefits, and vehicle would save a good chunk of taxpayer money. I mean, she obviously isn't doing anything anyway.
