It ain't over to the fat lady sings - Comment

Anonymous.

How stupid the whistleblower and her posse must feel right now, probably not half as stupid as they look to everyone. I am sure they can say "stay tuned folks, there is more to come", yeah right. I bet what's yet to come is Glenda being arrested and charged. Keep up the good work.

Anonymous Definition:  To dumb and cowardly to put your name on anything.

Blogger Comments:  You sure seem to have some inside knowledge Ana.  We are all well aware of your plans. Nothing Ana does to the whistleblowers will do her any good.  Franklin is a criminal, she can run but she can't hide.  We do not plan on running or hiding.  We have said all along that Ana would do something to the whisteblowers.  We heard several weeks ago that Ana had asked surround county sheriff's offices to do her dirty work. Word gets out when the sheriff has a mouth wider than the Grand Canyon.  We heard it loud and clear. Perhaps Franklin will make good on her promise to arrest us, or have us arrested.  It will not do her any good.  It isn't going to help you Ana or any of the people who have been involved in your crimes.  Ana knows whats coming she just doesn't want you to believe its coming.  So! enjoy your moment of fame.

In addition.  Ana didn't win anything.  She is held in contempt.  Just like Greg Bartlett was.  The only difference between Bartlett and Franklin is that he went to jail for a day.  No.  I take that back.  Ana's actions were 10 times worse than Bartlett's.  She has been caught in more lies than Pinocchio told in his poor little wooden life. Sure Ana may spin things her way for a season, she tends to do that.  Franklin has attempted many things over the past few months but those things will affect Ana and her thugs as well.  Sleep tight and let the bedbugs bite.

  3. For the past six months you have had your readers believing Ana would be led away in handcuffs and shackles for a lifetime behind bars. In reality she paid one thousand dollars in exchange for all the left over food money. Glenda you my friend are a fool. Do yourself a favor and shut down the site, you are a joke.

    1. Make no mistake, Glenda is no fool, she may be a schizophrenic or a prescription drug abuser, but not a fool. She will continue to lie, misconstrue, and mislead, all in her (sick) quest for vengeance.
Rick Sherman is the shining example of a fool. There are several more fools, some of which Glenda herself has mentioned on this blog.

    2. I am glad you shared your opinion that I am a fool. That opinion is not widely shared. But I bet even more people see someone who would make such opinionated statement under Anonymous, as being a coward. Spin what you will say what you might as anonymous. Other than a comment here or there I am not even involved with the whistleblowers at this time. I don't follow folks or write blogs. I do talk with many people and I do not hide behind anonymous. I can only imagine you are one of those who have so much to loose as this process continues, if not Ana herself. I will be there at the many hearings and court proceedings yet to come. Yep, stay tuned because this has only begun with courts civil and criminal. I will be there and I will not hide behind anonymous. I will do all I can to be the voice of the employees who can not otherwise be heard or the few who have not figured out yet what they can do to do their part. Just waiting for the inevitable to happen. So have fun anonymous and if standing for what is right and true makes you think I am a fool your opinion is not really worth much anonymous or not. I want bad for no one but justice for everyone. And to all those who have helped so much keep it coming, there is never too much.

    3. Fool hmmm the only fool is Ana Franklin. Are we actually saying that contempt of court rather conceding contempt of court is the conduct we expect from the county's chief law enforcement officer? Ana is not only corrupt and lies to the citizens she served she will go down as the biggest embarrassment this county has ever had and remembered as a dirty cop. So if you are replying on here about Glenda then you condone police corruption because the blog has been right so far.

  4. Anonymous that calls Glenda friend and fool at the same time are clueless to reality. This was only a very small part of what is to come. All the civil cases mean very little and it's the upcoming criminal cases that matter the most. Ana made an agreement and settled but admitted to taking a fraction of the money she actually took. I bet the blog is just warming up. Ana did not win. She conceded. She played guilty to content Did she admit then to falsifying other documents ? She has hung herself even more. The old saying give someone enough rope they will hang themselves is so very true in this instance.

    2. Civil contempt is a very long way from criminal. The court probably asked for it just to show they did "something".

    3. Give credit to the sheriff and her attorneys. This is her 3rd settlement this year! The smartest thing about it is, it has kept her from having to lie in court-(much different than lying to all of us, newspapers and the public).FIRST, she stipulated that she had indeed taken money from the food account, after telling at least three lies about where she got the money. That kept her from going to court over the issue. SECONDLY, she settled with the elderly couple she hit and injured in Baldwin County, after telling lies about being on duty and claiming immunity from such because of being Sheriff. AND THIRDLY, today's settlement in which she admitted to disobeying the court order and being in contempt as asserted by plaintiffs' attorney. This blog has been vindicated in its citing of the truth in ALL THREE situations.

It really is unfortunate that the top law enforcement person in our county can lie & steal the way she has, only gets a slap on the wrist, and remain in her position.

    4. I guess you're saying the sheriff not being found in criminal contempt is a win for you? You do realize that termination of that one paragraph, in effect, means it never applied to Sheriff Ana Franklin? What a huge win for Glenda!

  6. She started singing on this blog a couple years ago, al.com forums and starwatch were just warm-ups.

  7. And all these forums and media outlets saying the same things. Ana is a criminal. She has her cronies who are also criminals.

  8. This mess is disgusting...guess who are the losers? The innocent taxpayers who know that several thousands and thousands of dollars have been spent that could have gone toward the road deputies. Where have the funds gone...to the corrupt attorneys who are getting rich off a criminal Sheriff. Her and her cronies should not be celebrating just yet. The public is fed up...Quit lying and start telling the truth...too late for that I guess.

  9. Ana has very few supporters left...a handful who have gas cards and cars and fancy cars. They have to write nasty comments on this blog because if she goes down they do too. Keep up the good comments...you can tell the few blogging for Ana on here are not law abiding citizens and fear for losing the perks they are given. It is obvious. Entertaining but obvious.

  10. Ana's worries should have become worse than ever now. She is admitting to lying about where the money came from and being honest about taking it. What happens when she is asked about the taxes paid on the hundreds of thousands of dollars taken? Ana is paying herself more than most doctors make and not paying taxes. Put her in jail already.

  13. Folks, y'all are seeing the beginning of the end for this blog. The jail food money controversy was the peak of Glenda's mountain, the culmination of 6 years of vitriol and hatred towards Sheriff Ana Franklin. It was to be the key to the vengeance that Glenda wants so badly, that it consumes every waking hour. She'll post over and over again that there is much more to come, that this was only a small part, don't believe it. What will Glenda do as the months pass, and Sheriff Ana Franklin is still the Sheriff? Will she step up the personal attacks on family, friends, and other Sheriff's Office employees? Reckon she, or her hired thugs, will double down on surveillance and trespass?

    1. There is so much more that is much more hard to overcome. TItle Marts is a much bigger issue. $160,000 mentioned is only a small part of it. Keylogger devices and many other illegal actions by the Sheriff and co-conspirators is yet to come. Only a small part of the civil has started and the criminal part has not even begun. So far she has settled and pled guilty to it all that she has faced. How is admission of guilt in any of this a win for Ana?

      Delete
    2. "Only a small part of it", there it is, just as someone predicted. You must be a student of Goebbels, the bigger the lie, the more it will be believed. You claim the Sheriff has stolen $1,000,000 or more, that's a lie big enough that a certain number of people will believe it, or at least be suspicious. How exactly does a sheriff from podunk Alabama hide that kinda cash? No doubt, you'll spin a tale of a grand scheme to attempt to legitimize your accusations.

  14. The Integrity of the office of Sheriff in Morgan County has completely disappeared.

A quote from the article:For now, she said, there is no money to keep, saying she put $26,600 of her own money into the food fund to cover shortfalls in 2015 and 2016 and that she had thus far lost $38,0000 in 2017.

Yet in 2015 there was a surplus of $160,000 that was removed and $150,000 of that invested in the Title Mart car lot. This according to Ms. Franklin was done in order to recoup $21,000 out of pocket expenses for the jail food. So instead of just taking the $21,000 to recoup, $150,000 was invested to recoup the $21,000. BTW, there has been no mention of what happened to the $10,000 remaining that was not invested of $160,000 that was removed.

Is this really good management? A person has to wonder if the DAILY has asked to see if there are any documentation of any out of pocket expenses. None the less this all seems deceptive as it was when the story first broke. The title mart investment came from retirement and savings, to it was removed because of an FDIC limit, to I just took the money because state law says I can to now out of pocket expenses that needed to be recouped. Which is it?

If you believe all of this, I have beach front property for sale on Bank Street. If Ms.Franklin had any ounce of professionalism she would resign, because the deception is much too obvious and insulting to the taxpayers. It appears that the salary of $68,000 dollars is just not enough to protect and serve her citizens, yet I bet her staff who man the jail and are our first responders on patrol in our county who make the Sheriff look good, would love to have that paycheck. The Integrity is gone, and Ms. Franklin should go with it.

    MELT THAT!

    1. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We are suppose to believe that she spent $64,600 dollars of her own money? The court order clearly states that the Sheriff was not responsible for any shortfall. This must be a set-up for her to take money from the food account, and her loyal followers will be appeased because "she would just be re-couping the money she spent. Wonder where did she get that kinda of money? Could it be part of the payoff from the ponzi scheme? Sure hope the proper authorities follow the money trail!

    2. How much money do you make? What do you spend it on? How much alcohol do you buy every week? What do your prescription meds cost per month? What, you say that's none of anybody's business? Is your personal money? Ok, just like you're talking about the Sheriff's personal money, in accordance with state law. By the way, the federal court just agreed.

    3. It's tax payers dollars and that doesn't make it personal money. If the sheriff is as transparent as she claims she should have no problem answering the questions.

      Delete
    4. You are either lying, or ignorant of how this works. If it's the latter, I'll help. All the sheriffs in Alabama (with a few exceptions) are personally responsible for feeding inmates. The state helps by giving the sheriffs a set amount of money for each prisoner. The money is paid directly to each sheriff, therefore it is the sheriffs money. Now it does come from the state's tax base, but once sent to the sheriff, it becomes personal money. Since it is the Sheriff's personal money, they are allowed to keep the excess to do as they please. I believe is a bad law, but it's the one we have. Judge Kallon and the Atlanta attorneys agree. I understand this causes you much distress, but it's the truth, something in short supply on this blog.
If it's the former, well that's par for the course.

    5. You know calling people ignorant just goes to show how ignorant you are. It's like this the sheriffs salary is $68,000 a year. Ana Franklin knew that when she ran for office. Just because a law says they can n take doesn't mean they have to now does it? This from a sheriff when she first ran who condemned then sheriff Bartlett for taking said that she never would The actions of greed speak loud. Ana serves for money. Greed. Yes the money comes from taxes but a sheriff has the responsibility to be above board. When it is tax money going in the pocket tax payers have a right to know. So does the IRS and based on this sheriffs defiance of I'll do as I please I doubt the IRS knows of this "personal " money. It's sad that the deputies and corrections officers who struggle from pay check to paycheck work for a sheriff that says " I just can't live on sixty eight grand a year." Call me ignorant all you desire I can see a fake from a mile away. Ana Franklin is a fake.

  15. Looks like the court agrees that sheriff's in this state can use excess food money in any way they see fit, just as Alabama State Law allows. No need to claim the inmates aren't getting fed properly, the shakedown attorneys from Atlanta say they are, according to the article. Guess what...I bet they've actually seen the evidence, not just vitriolic speculation.

  16. Glenda is a perfect example of the boy who cried wolf. The sad part is, after she gets her ass handed to her on a platter she still continues with the lies and deceit. Admit it Glenda, your plan didn't work. There is nothing wrong with being defeated or proven wrong, it's the real idiots who continue with the lies and propaganda like you are doing that become such a joke. I have an idea for you, pack up your tents and go home. Close down this useless blog and admit defeat. Find something other than Ana to be obsessed with, surely you have some family you could channel this energy towards. You probably should also spend a great deal of time praying that you will not be charged and arrested for your own criminal acts. Just something for you too think about, you have burned out Glenda, the party is over. Give it up. Continuing the blog makes you look more stupid by the hour.

    1. Actually the more stupid by the hour is Ana Franklin. An officer of the court as the sheriff is all she had to do before she ever withdrew any money was to challenge the court order in court. She chose to take rather than challenge. She chose to mis lead when caught rather than be truthful. She maybe currently singing all the way to the bank but the way this was handled was not smart it was stupid and now she has the title of being a sheriff in contempt. Who looks stupid now? Ana and her fans it's simple STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES.

  18. Wondering why Ana and gang are worried about whistleblowers and the like. It's not the whistleblowers who are the ones who ultimately will be her undoing. It is her herself and those who have taken part in the criminal conduct that she should be worried about as those who can make a difference do what they will be doing. Tic tock tic tock. Ana and gang keep throwing mud and diversionary tactics. It keeps you occupied while those who really are looking into everything do there thing. Do you really think that with all this media attention that no one is paying attention ? If Glenda and others can figure out the small portion of what is known and shared here how much more is really known?

  19. Keep on keeping on whistleblowers. These folks are bad...lying thieves...spending frivolous money on all that really matters...the deputies. You know what bothers me the most...she hits a couple in Mobile...while visiting her new boyfriend Charlie...lies about it...says she was in some class she was not even registered for to try to get away with it. A law enforcement officer should be held to the highest standards...we the taxpayers voted them in...not to lie and deceive. Just like the stealing 160k from the inmate food account when her fat ass knew she could not touch it...then lies 3 times as to where the money came from. Sorry Morgan County...this is so not right and until someone with some balls comes in to take over and make her resign this is what we will deal with.
