Nothing but the best and the worst depending on who you are

Ana purchased a new Tahoe for the new warden and two new SUVS after she purchased Zivett’s vehicle.

The road deputies are still driving the same old vehicles that are out of date and not fully equipped for their mission.  What does Ana have to say about the road deputies.  Literally, screw them.  The do not support me, why should I give a damn about what they drive.  I would fire them all if I could.

Franklin is ticked at Chad Sain and his punishment for doing his job is to be moved to courthouse security.  I guess that means Turk Jones was also being punished when he was moved to courthouse security.

Franklin is vindictive and mean spirited when it comes to the deputies.  The deputies are the first line of defense but they are last in live for fully equipped vehicles, lapel cameras, dash cameras, protective vest, and last but not least training.

Should something serious happen here in Morgan County I am sure Franklin will blame it on the whistleblowers.  There is a good reason for that.  Franklin never learned as a child how to take responsibility for her shortfalls.  As old as she is she will never learn to take responsibility.  When she, Ziaja, Greg Steenson, Bones Wilson, Blake Robinson, and Justin Powell go off to prison they will blame the whistleblowers.

Or better yet.  Mr. Harold Jeffreys.  Mr. Jeffreys in their eyes made them steal his money.

  1. Well who is getting the 2 new SUV's. I have heard the first SUV replaced a 2004 crown Vic that was falling apart. Don't think zivett asked for a new vehicle. I have seen the vehicle it is not brand new, It is a used vehicle.I believe that vehicle will be used to transport inmated all over the state.

  2. Well who is getting the new vehicles? Is the County Commission paying for these or is the Sheriff's Department. I believe the vehicle that zivett got replaced a 2005 crown vic which was the oldest vehicle in the fleet and falling apert. We have heard that vehicle is used to transport inmates all over the state. We don't believe he asked for that vehicle. The question you should be asking is why so many fully marked police vehicles are being given to jailers and the Chaplins & dispatchers. Why are the best vehicles given to the SRO's over the road. Don't that just drive to and from school? Wait isn't Ron Livingston over the fleet of vehicles? And isn't he over the Sro's? We guess that explains that. We wonder if Ron is involved in buying the new vehicles or if they are going around him to do this since he never comes into work.

  3. I have personally spoken to Mr. Jones, and am glad he is enjoying his new job. Him leaving was a drastic loss to the Sheriff's Office. I have heard many compliments about Jones in reference to his supervisory and policing skills. Mr. Jones, keep your head held high and enjoy brother!

As for the new vehicles, what a joke! But, par for the course. Ana knows she is done and will do her best to rid the department of good officers before she is taken away. In reference to the above comment about Blake and the phonebook, I have one thing to say... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Domestic Violence much????????????

  4. Here is how the vehicle thing works at the Sheriff's office. Ray Long and the boys don't like buying cars for the Sheriff, the commission hasn't bought cars for our deputies since around '09. Ana buys or leases through discretionary funds, which legally allows her to by pass the state bid law. That means she can buy or lease where ever she wants. The smart thing to do would be to buy from a state bid dealer, but as we can all see Ana ain't too smart. This allows her to help out her huge campaign contributors Lynn and Jeff Layton. The Laytons by the way side were investors in the Title Marts but as we all know that is a huge other story. The SRO Dodge Chargers and one Tahoe were purchased from state bid, but this angered Jeff Layton. So now Zivat's new expedition a near fifty grand purchase is not a police package vehicle which would have been more practical, I mean it is a police agency, and a cheaper purchase. The new Tahoe for the head jailer I doubt will be a police package either. True Granddaddy Ron Livingston is in charge of the fleet but Ana makes the purchase decisions. Oh again by the way side Grandaddy Ron it is said is posturing hisself to run for sheriff?? Say it ain't so Ron! I mean really say it ain't so! Back to the action, You can see how it works, certain people get luxury vehicles not suited for police work that helps out the Laytons, Grandaddy Ron has one of those luxury Tahoes btw, those purchases cost the taxpayers more money etc... That is the irresponsible managemet we have in place and just one example of many at the Morgan County Sheriff's Office

    1. I have a question, if Mr. Harold Jeffreys has all the money that the blog suggests he has then why would he need some many investors to run a little used car lot? It looks like they were either up too no good by fleecing people out of money, or he is not near as wealthy as you folks report. Not looking for controversy, just curious.

    2. I cannot believe that those Livingston brothers ,Donald and Ronald, are still around.I thought they died years ago.It looks as though they will be carried away from their jobs in caskets. They are as old as dirt, and both are corrupt.I have heard older State Troopers say that Donald Livingston was very disliked by the other troopers and was known to be on the take.If I am correct,I believe he flew on a former governors plane in his security detail. He is now joined at the hip of the Priceville mayor,Melvin Duran.I am told that the two are inseperable.Apparentely"birds of a feather do flock together".I wonder how much of the City of Priceville's money, has gone into their pockets over the years. It is a shame that someone as old and unqualified as Ronald Livingston is,to be a deputy,is taking a job away from some young man who is qualified and has a family and needs work. What purpose does Ron Livingston serve? He is incapable of doing anything but sitting and feathering his nest. Both of you need to retire before you are carried out feet first. You should retire and go fishing, hopefully in a leaky boat.On another note, why is the former Decatur police chief still on the sheriff's payroll? That is not fair to the taxpayers.Talk about corruption!

    3. That is a very good point, why would Harold Jeffreys borrow money from so many people in order to run his used car lot if he had so much money. I bet if you ask him, he was doing it to help other people. (yeah right). Or he would say he was doing it for the glory of GOD. Whatever his story, bottom line is he is a thief and cheated people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. One of the investors told me that Harold insisted that all investors let their money accrue and not draw it out, but Harold insisted he be paid his interest each month. To the tune of about 30,000 each month I am told. Sounds like he had his hand in the investor cookie jar pretty deep.

    4. Just sounds like more empty (false) accusations that you can't prove to me. If you CAN prove them, then please enlighten us all, thereby giving yourself some real credibility instead of just bitterly spewing venom.

    5. I read the blog from time to time but I have never commented. The above comment does bring up a good point. Why would Harold Jeffreys need investors to fund a side of the road used car dealership if he has the kind of money this blog claims he has. Sure smells fishy. Nothing to me, I don't know any of you people but interesting.

    6. Aside from Ana, which the Decatur Daily has already documented to be a liar, who else claims to have invested because of Mr. Jeffreys? Some names might be helpful in convincing the rest of us, as would anybody that's an actual investor speaking up and having their say.

      Delete
    7. Here are a few names that invested because of Harold Jeffreys. These are just the ones I am aware of, I am sure there are many more

      Ana Franklin
Steven Ziaja. Harold signed his note
      Malcolm Walker. Harolds cousin
      Patrick Walker. Harolds cousin
      Dwight Masterson. Harold cousin
      Chad Masterson. Harolds cousin
Robert Burton. Harolds brother in law
John Klein. Harolds son in law
      Katie Klein. Harolds daughter

I understand all of these people were recruited by Harold. I am told there are others but I don't know.

    8. If that is true that is some pretty strong evidence.

    9. Dang, that sure sounds like Mr. Jeffreys was out to screw his own family, doesn't it?! Especially if you consider that most of them would not even have (or would have had) a job if it weren't for Mr. Jeffreys in the first place. The more that I think about it, the more counter-intuitive it sounds. Why would Mr. Jeffreys provide 100% of the start-up money needed to fund the company, then hire his own cousins and son-in-law to go to work there and convince them all to invest just to rip them off?! He didn't need any of their money in the first place. Arguing that he started this company with his own money, just to lure all of his kin folks in and then betray their trust and take advantage of them just doesn't hold water. It's not even logical.

      Delete
    10. So, you ask for names of the people he screwed. You get them and them come up with some other flimsy excuse to defend him. You my friend are a special kind of stupid. But let's say for a minute you are right. You still haven't answered the original question. If Jeffreys is so rich why did he need outside investors for a used car lot? We are waiting.

      Delete
    11. Instead, let's say for a minute that you ask all of Mr. Jeffreys' relatives whose fault this is or if they blame him for what happened. And if any one of them is willing to point their finger at him or place the blame on him, then get back to us. Otherwise, it doesn't sound to me like you personally are an investor or have anything --not one single penny of your own money-- at stake here.

      Delete
    12. You are right, I don't. I was ask by Jeffreys to invest. Thank goodness I didn't. I just don't think he is innocent. Neither are the rest of them for that matter.

    13. You my friend are a special kind of stupid. If you have any proof (not just an endless assortment of random, ambiguous accusations), then put up or shut up.

    14. The problem is when you do give Glenda info to work with she acts like she never got it. Don't waste your time. WHY DID JEFFERYS NEED TO BORROW MONEY? Explain that Glenda.

      Delete
    15. Jeffreys never asked to borrow money from anybody. He also never recruited anyone to take part in this little scheme, including you. If anybody did any recruiting, it was Steenson. Period.

      Delete
    16. How did Steenson recruit Jeffreys family? Come on now. You know better than that.

      Delete
    17. Seriously that's the best you have. Whistleblower LUV!!! Glenda you can only take up for your sugar daddy so much. The evidence points the other way. 😂😂😂

      Delete
    18. Sounds like the Whistleblower may be on Jeffreys payroll.

    19. I will go back one more time and reiterate...none of Jeffreys' relatives blame him for this situation or anything that happened. If you can find someone that is willing to publicly blame Jefrreys, then state their name and make the claim. The lawsuit that was filed is against Stevenson, not the other way around.

      Delete
    20. I think Jeffreys was countersued and just this week the bankruptcy trustee lawyer was granted permission to sue Jeffreys. Check that out.

      Delete
    21. Bankruptcy trustee LUV now?! What next? Search PACER (the state legal database) all you want...by you will not find any lawsuits filed against Jeffreys. The same cannot be said about Steenson.

  5. The Ford SUV that Zivat is driving is used, I believe it was bought out of Federal surplus, no doubt it was much cheaper than a new one. The Warden's Tahoe is used, bought out of State surplus. The two Suburbans are also used, bought from State surplus. Like someone else posted, the county commission had refused to buy vehicles since '09. The sheriff appears to be using discretionary funds to try to provide whatever updated equipment she can, at much lower cost than buying new.

    1. I'm sorry, but trying to be financially responsible doesn't sound like Ana at all.

      Delete
    2. BUT! Wouldn't it make more sense to buy body cameras for the guys on the beat? Some of these lawsuits would be invalid like the one mentioned today in The Decatur Daily. Obviously, she had money to spend because she has spent 100's of 1000's on new vehicles in the last year and a half. Maybe the deputies need to file a lawsuit against the high sheriff for being under staffed due to her mismanagement, and under equipped due to misspending.

      Delete
    3. Hundreds of thousands spent on new vehicles in 1.5 years? Don't be ridiculous. I kinda doubt a body camera will do much good if the deputy wearing it is sitting by the road in a broke down car. The county commission is responsible for properly funding the sheriff's office, they have refused to buy any cars in 8 years, that is an embarrassment. If money from discretionary funds, the jail store, or rodeo can help put even one more unit on the road, that's a positive.

      Delete
    4. Don't be ridiculous? Let's do some 3rd grade math. Larry "Cowboy" Berzett's truck($60,000), Bones "Puppy Predator" Wilson's truck($60,000), Chief "gone to the cattle sale" Corley's truck($60,000). I think that's $180,000 so far, stop me when I'm wrong. Zivett's New SUV ($30,000 to $50,000), Warden's new Tahoe($25,000), two Suburbans($40,000-$50,000) NEW F250 for the JAILER($40,000)..

Now I'm no scientist, but I think that is an estimated $300,000 and I give her credit on those prices. So, am I being ridiculous, or did you just not realize it is much worse than you thought?

      Delete
    5. Check your dates, I don't believe those were all bought in the last 1.5 years. Zivat's ain't new. I guess you're talking about the F250 that the work crew uses to pull mowers and equipment with, no idea how much that cost, I'm sure you've probably got a copy of the invoice, should be easy enough for you to get.

      Delete
    6. Ok, you got me! It was indeed June 2015. So instead of my aforementioned 18 months, it was actually 23 months (wow 5 months). Also, yes that is the F250 I'm referring to. I guess the F250 driven by a Jail Supervisor wasn't good enough to pull lawn mowers and equipment. Zivett's truck may not be "New", but its new enough to have a hefty price tag.

      Delete
    7. Post up the invoices, your connection in the office ought to be able to provide copies.

      Delete
    8. Jail Supervisor F250? The single cab pickup? Are you suggesting the work crew should ride in the bed of the truck? Surely you don't advocate treating those poor inmates like animals?

      Delete
    9. The bed of a truck. NEVER! I was thinking Blake Robinson would transport them in the White School Bus that has had money poured into it as well. Also, I don't expose my connections, I have never stabbed people in the back when I was done using them.

      Delete
    10. Good, we agree the work crew needs to be able to ride inside the cab. I guess a crew cab truck makes sense.

    11. and since you seem to be fairly knowledgeable when it comes to the office, has Zivett's sexual harassment case been addressed yet? It would be a shame if higher officials knew about this and knew that Franklin was aware but failing to act.

While I'm at it, does anyone know whatever happened to Brian Fulford? He was the former MCSO deputy that squared up, shot a guy in the butt at Wal-Mart in Huntsville, then said it was an accident. I know he resigned but I never heard the result of his case.

  9. The sheriff is trying to buy new at much lower cost so she is buying used WHY? If Zivats new ride is surplus somebody took reeeaaal good care of it. It's amusing since someone claims she bought his and a few others surplus vehicles but when cowboy Berzett Livingston and Bones needed vehicles they got brand new luxury pickups and a Tahoe for granddaddy Ron that they picked out. They blend in with what the public drives so y'all knows what that means they drive them anywhere they want and we foot the fuel bill. Maybe that's one reason she buys used now but maybe it is because of who you are as the blog says. It's funny a brand new 2017 Ford F-250 crew cab was bought for the jail this year, probably a used one might have been more appropriate and yes it's new not surplus. Face it folks it's a law enforcement agency or at least it is suppose to be. When you have a sheriff that never went on patrol by herself and wore a uniform and a granddaddy captain that's been out of police work over thirty years when she hired him, and hires a cowboy who's idol is Walker Texas Ranger (it must be he dresses like him and looks ridiculous) they have no idea how to run things. That's why in 2017 there are only a few patrol cars that have cameras (that's not new technology by the way) no body cameras either unless you are a civilian security officer that dresses like a deputy in the courthouse. Yet sadly there are still people who claim this is the best sheriff ever. If I was a criminal I would too lol
