Is she or isn't she? Does it really matter?

Ana claims she isn't running for reelection. Time will tell as we are edging closer to the campaign start up. Rumors are flying that Both she and Blakely will not seek reelection.  If you recall Blakely is Ana's sidekick and running buddy from Limestone County.  Franklin worked for Blakely at one time.  Blakely is said to have picked his successor. So, has Ana. Ron Livingston is gearing up to make a run for sheriff.

Our sources tell us Blakely has agreed to do one last favor for Ana for ole times sake. Rumor is that he agreed to do what the state would not do. If our sources are right Blakely is the outside agency running the investigation on the whistleblowers. Some of Ana's anonymous people who comment let it slip.  Blakely is also the sheriff that along with Ana went into another county and took over the scene of the incident.  He and Ana decided poor ole Roger Stevens needed their help.  Stevens a friend of Sheriff Ana Franklin killed his wife in cold blood in front of her establishment.  Ana and Blakely sipped whiskey in the big rig truck Stevens at his work location after he killed his wife.  This is the Same Roger Stevens that Ana was going to take to visit his daddy before she took him to jail. She and Blakely then placed a drunken Roger Stevens in the back seat of her SUV without a protective screen and drove him to jail.  Tell me it isn't so.  Ana wouldn't drink and drive.

Back to the rumor.  This may just be a rumor but shortly after Ana hired an informant to break in Lockhart's office and steal documents and place Keylogger software on the computers, get warrants for Lockhart's office, and Leon Bradley’s house these rumors began flying.

Blakely and Franklin are as tight as ticks on a dog's back.  When we called him about rumors that he was going to testify for Ana in the South Alabama case where Ana ran her vehicle into the Hall's vehicle and seriously injured them.  Blakely claimed that he had not been served a subpoena but that he knew Ana was at the class.  Not in the class "at the class".  Blakely knew more than the folks in the class.  Seems she wasn't seen by anybody else.

  6. I think it should be open to any law abiding citizen of Morgan County. It has proven that someone with law enforcement experience can not be trusted.

    3. I'm pretty sure any citizen of Morgan County can run, as long as you have at least a GED, and no felony convictions.

    4. I can name more than one, using a broad brush and saying all law enforcement is corrupt is ignorant. There are always the few that bend the rules and break the laws and that makes it bad for everyone else. There are plenty hands to shake. However, there are some that need to be in handcuffs.
