After the hearing in Baldwin County Ana turned her Ford Expedition in and is now driving the F-250. Ana tells friends I can't stand to be in the vehicle anymore. Maybe Ana can't stand being in the vehicle because of the bad memories it brings back. Such as the day she was rushing back to Morgan County after a rendezvous with her new man Charlie and hit the Halls, causing serious injury to them.
Something we blogged early on is that Charlie showed up at the scene of the accident to support his woman and to help get her back to Morgan County.
As of now the kitchen help contractor Dee Goodwin is driving the Expedition until her new vehicle is ready to be driven. One of the Suburbans that Franklin recently purchased. The motor blew up in the vehicle Goodwin was driving. Must be nice to be a contractor working for the sheriff.
Someone posted on the blog that Zivett was driving a used vehicle as well. Not true. He is driving a brand new $47,000.00+ Expedition.
To add insult to injury when Ana purchased the new $450,000.00+ radio system she did not purchase enough to equip all of the road deputies and the reserves with communications equipment. We hear that Berzett told the reserves if they want walkie-talkies they can purchase them themselves for $2,000.00 each. Wow! what if you are a reserve riding with a deputy and you get separated? Maybe she should buy whistles for the reserves to carry so they can at least alert the deputy of their location. That is a regression back to the 70's and 80's.
This isn't a criticism of the sheriff just for sport. The actions that the sheriff is taking or NOT taking regarding the deputies, vehicles, communications, and equipment is negligence on the part of the sheriff.
