Pay to Play Bonding Companies

We hear Sheriff Ana Franklin has set up a pay to play video in booking and the sheriffs office lobby for bonding agencies. The bonding agencies advertise their services on full screen television/video along with their telephone numbers while inmates are being booked into the jail.  The video also plays on full screen in the front lobby of the jail.  Companies are required to pay $350.00 per month to have their bonding agencies advertised.  If you don't pay to play your company isn't advertised and inmates processing in booking will most likely call one of the two agencies advertised on the videos.

UPDATE - Sweet Deals or Unfair Advantage

I STAND CORRECTED.  I REPORTED THAT THREE SISTERS BONDING RECEIVES 50 PERCENT OF THE BONDING FEES FOR THE MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE.  THREE SISTERS BONDING, INC. AKA SPECIAL EVENTS AND MORE RECEIVES A WHOPPING 60 PERCENT OF THE BAIL BONDING FEES IN MORGAN COUNTY.

ONE OF MY CONTACTS WAS IN THE MCSO LAST WEEK WHEN ONE OF THE BONDING COMPANIES CAME IN TO BOND SOMEONE OUT.  THE CORRECTIONS OFFICE MADE IT CLEAR THAT THEY WERE HOLDING THE BOND FOR ANOTHER BONDING COMPANY.  THE BONDING REPRESENTATIVE TOLD THE CORRECTIONS OFFICER THAT WHAT THEY WERE DOING IS ILLEGAL.  DON'T THESE CORRECTIONS OFFICERS KNOW YOU CAN'T DO THAT?

THANKS TO AN ALERT CORRECTIONS OFFICER THAT NO LONGER WORKS FOR THE MCSO IT APPEARS THAT AS OF LAST NIGHT SOME OF THE OTHER BONDING COMPANIES ARE BACK AT WORK!  GREAT JOB!

Sheriff Ana Franklin, Is it true that you have a special relationship with one of the Morgan County Bonding agencies?

Is it true that during the most recent worthless check round up that Three Sisters Bonding arrived at the jail before the round up started and before the first arrestee arrived?

Is it true that the booking officer repeatedly told the arrestee's to call Three Sisters because they were already at the jail?

Is it true that Three Sisters Bonding is the first name on the list of bonding companies in the back of the jail where intake begins, and that they have been at the top of the list for years?

Is it true that the other bonding agencies have complained about this issue and you have turned a deaf ear to there concerns?

It appears that the three top bonding companies in Morgan County are Three Sisters Bonding, PRONTO, and CJ’s Bonding.  It also appears that Three Sisters Bonding is now getting approximately 50 percent of the bonds that are posted in Morgan County.

Is it true that the same people who own Three Sisters Bonding does most of the catering for the MCSO and the Posse under the name of Special Events and More?  Can you guess which of these groups is Three Sisters Bonding and which is Special Events and More?
