Unity Meeting at Ingalls Park

There is a Unity Breakfast this morning at Ingalls Park.  Sheriff Ana Franklin and Acting Sheriff Larry Berzett were in attendance.

Sheriff Franklin!  In Martin Luther King, Jr. on words "The time is always right to do what is right."

Unity, honesty, and integrity.

We also hear that Leon Bradley was in attendance at the breakfast.  Bradley's strong ties to the community and his church keep him and his family going.   Leon Bradley a man of color.  A man of integrity.  A man of honesty and dignity..  Leon Bradley has the respect of the citizens of Morgan County, Alabama, elected officials, MCSO employees, and the county employees.  Thank you Warden Bradley for your service and dedication to the MCSO and the inmates.  Respect for all life.

Our leaders in the community are graceful and strive to ensure unity, fairness, and equality for all of the citizens of Morgan County, Alabama.  We are moving forward.  We strive for diversity within our county and our cities.  Decatur has made great strides in diversity in hiring Nate Allen.  Thank you Decatur, Alabama.

The members of the Decatur Police Department are committed to excellence in law enforcement and are dedicated to the citizens, traditions and diversity of our city. As a police department, we are charged with protecting lives and property, preventing crime and reducing the fear of crime all while providing transparent police services with understanding and compassion through partnerships with our citizens. We will perform our duties with integrity and provide total law enforcement with a vision.
